Gold Coast developer 5Point has achieved a key milestone at its $80 million beachfront project Palm Shores, with 50% of residences sold during the four-week pre-launch campaign.

Located at 171–173 Jefferson Lane in Palm Beach, the boutique project features 18 luxury residences, including two beach homes with direct sand access and 16 apartments spread across nine levels. The sales momentum underscores buyer demand for absolute beachfront property in one of the Gold Coast’s most tightly held coastal locations.

The project, now under construction, follows 5Point’s earlier success with Ophira — another Jefferson Lane development — and reinforces the developer’s ongoing commitment to Palm Beach.

“Palm Shores embodies our passion for creating residences that reflect the distinctive essence of Palm Beach while exceeding the expectations of discerning buyers,” said Damian Dove, Director of 5Point Projects.

5Point has reported strong interest from both local downsizers and interstate purchasers, a trend attributed to Palm Beach’s growing reputation as a lifestyle suburb that blends coastal amenity with urban accessibility.

“Palm Beach has cemented itself as one of the Gold Coast’s most sought-after suburbs, known for its vibrant dining scene, pristine coastline, and proximity to major transport hubs like the Gold Coast Airport,” Dove added.

The project, designed in collaboration with Plus Architecture, includes 20 metres of absolute beach frontage and a restrained palette of natural stone and timber finishes. Residences will feature Gaggenau appliances, brushed bronze tapware and fittings, and large open-plan living spaces aimed at premium owner-occupiers.

Residents will also have access to a rooftop recreational area, which includes pools, barbecue areas, and private facilities exclusive to the building.

The rapid sales and early construction commencement signal continued confidence in the Palm Beach apartment market, particularly among buyers seeking low-maintenance, architecturally designed homes in walkable, lifestyle-focused neighbourhoods.

“With limited absolute beachfront development opportunities remaining, Palm Shores presents a rare chance for buyers to secure a luxury residence in this highly coveted location,” Dove said.

Construction of Palm Shores commenced in early March 2025, with completion targeted for October 2026. Sales and marketing are being managed by ARC Project Marketing.
