Azure Development Group have proposed a new 15 storey student accomodation development located at 25-29 Archer Street, Toowong.

Designed by Nettletontribe, the project consists of 556 student accomodation rooms, a rooftop pool deck and cross block link to an overpass which connects to Toowong Village and train station.

The DA states that the high density residential development is suitably located in close proximity to the University of Queensland which is 2.5kms away and located very close to public transport.

    This type of accommodation will be popular with students and short time visitors to UQ. Convenient location, close to shops and public transport. Education export is the next big thing in Australia, with annual growth ~10%. The city need more high-rise student accommodation.
