Significant construction milestones are being celebrated by Royale Gold Coast’s developers as their vision for the six-star apartment residences continues to take shape on its prime, absolute beachfront site at the exclusive Northcliffe Terrace in Surfers Paradise on Australia’s Gold Coast.

Building construction has reached Level 10, with the major infrastructure for Royale Gold Coast’s extensive six-star amenities across the first two floors completed and luxury interior treatments curated by award-winning Mim Design underway from Level 2.

Royale Gold Coast is a signature development for one of Australia’s most respected property developers David Devine and his DD Living team. The 36-level tower encompasses 104 large, luxury two, three, and four-bedroom residences, including penthouses and sky homes that represent some of Australia’s most prestigious properties.

Leading Australian construction company Hutchinson Builders (Hutchies) is delivering the high-level technical build required to achieve Royale’s unique architectural design by DKO Architecture.

Hutchies team leader for Royale Gold Coast, Michael Sipinkoski, says the extensive amenities build across the split-level ground floor – incorporating Royale Beach Club, a 1200sqm beachfront realm and Club Royale across the 560sqm Level 1 – is now structurally complete.

He said the unit finishes were now underway from Level Two upwards.

“This milestone marks a new phase of development with the apartment tower slabs completed to Level 10 and walls poured to Level 14. Progress should now continue at circa one floor per week, on track towards 2026 completion.

“Levels 5 and 6 of Royale’s façade is now visible to the street, showing the high-quality build, and we will be taking the scaffolding down early 2025 to expose the façade from Level 1 to Level 7.”

Key highlights of the construction progress include Royale Beach Club which features two large, elevated lagoon-style pools (one of which also provides a 25m lap lane), making Royale the only beachfront apartment building on the Gold Coast with two outdoor pools on the beachfront. The formwork has been completed on both pools and surrounding areas.

Inside Royale’s opulent building structure is a 110sqm room with sweeping beach views through four metre floor-to-ceiling windows that will be dedicated to a state-of-the art gym, while the Royale Wellness Centre with a steam room, sauna, spa and yoga terrace occupies the southeast corner of the building. Inside the heart of the building is Royale’s exquisitely designed grand entry lobby, stepping up from the porte cochere on Northcliffe Terrace.

Club Royale on Level 1 is the epitome of six-star amenity. The 560sqm level includes an executive lounge, luxurious marble bar, expansive teppanyaki bar, a formal 14-seat dining room and Cucina Chef commercial kitchen, an oversized cellar room and multipurpose meeting rooms are surrounded by spectacular beach and ocean views through floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors that lead out to a full-length entertainer’s balcony.

TOTAL Property Group Managing Director Adrian Parsons recently visited the Royale Gold Coast site, meeting with Hutchies who highlighted the impressive high-level technical build.

“Royale is quickly becoming a standout architectural landmark and it is at a really exciting stage of construction now that we’ve reached the point where every week from now on, we will see the tower’s elliptical form taking shape, rising around one level every week,” Mr Parsons said.

“David Devine and his team, in collaboration with DKO Architecture, have created a building of architectural excellence in response to the site’s incredible size and location.

“It is rare for a developer to find such a large corner block with a northeast orientation on absolute beachfront anywhere, let alone in an exclusive owner-occupier enclave of the Gold Coast. The northeast orientation of the building positions the apartments with unparalleled ocean views and year-round outdoor comfort.”

Royale Gold Coast is a 36-level tower consisting of 104 two, three and four-bedroom luxury apartments that include some of Australia’s most prestigious penthouses, sky homes and beach homes currently on the market. A limited collection of three and four-bedroom residences are still available, priced from $4,987,500.
