A development application has been submitted by Wharf Investment Corporation Pty Ltd which is owned by Morris Property Group for a new 27-storey commercial tower located at 152 Wharf Street, Spring Hill.

The new commercial scheme features 24,416 sqm of net lettable area, two ground floor retail tenancies totalling 340 sqm, streetscape works, 20 levels of A Grade office space as well as a rooftop terrace level.

Why was the previous residential building knocked back?

That is ridiculous amount of car parking for a 27 story commercial building. To only have 4.4 parks per floor of the 20 commercial levels is just crazy. BCC should be looking to make building have more parking to allow for less on street parking which will allow more traffic flow.

It’s in spring hill, take a bus or train. You don’t need to drive everywhere. Unless you’re afraid of the peasants who use public transport?

It looks beautiful. My only critique is that it is not tall enough! Deserves a few extra floors!

The problem with pubic transport is that you encounter far too much of the public on it
