Mirvac’s $950 million-plus Eagle Farm Residential Precinct redevelopment has today received official endorsement from the Brisbane City Council, heralding the start of construction on the eagerly awaited revitalisation project.

As part of Brisbane Racing Club’s vision for the region, Mirvac will soon commence work on a 54,000 square metre residential precinct alongside the racecourse, which will form part of the Eagle Farm Master Plan.

The first stage of luxury apartments will consist of two towers, Ascot House and Tulloch House, both of which will comprise a selection of one, two and three bedroom apartments with prices starting at $460,000.

Prospective buyers will also be presented with the opportunity to purchase custom designed four and five-bedroom residences upon request.

Mirvac Head of Residential John Carfi said that sales preview evenings for Brisbane Racing Club members and Mirvac VIPs had resulted in strong interest in the project as further detail on the visionary development was unveiled.

“We anticipate that strong interest during the sales previews will convert to significant enquiries and expressions of interest during public release, which is currently slated for the end of June,” Mr Carfi said.

Located just six kilometres from the CBD in the esteemed suburb of Ascot, Mr Carfi said that Ascot Green is set to become Brisbane’s next iconic destination.

“Combining community-centric residential, multiple green spaces, and public art spaces, Ascot Green will offer a winning combination of lifestyle, design and tradition where people live, work and play,” he said.

The nine and 12 storey buildings will feature expansive rooftop terraces where residents and guests can enjoy views of the historic Eagle Farm racecourse and city beyond. Further amenity offered to residents will include a lap pool and gym.

The sales office will be open by appointment ahead of the public launch, with the official launch due in June 2016. Prospective buyers can register their interest at www.ascotgreen.mirvac.com.
