The newest entrant to Newstead’s growing list of high-end residential developments is Chester which will soon hit the market.

Developed by Kokoda Properties, the project has been named after the two intersecting street names, Chester and Ella Street.

The first stage release ‘Chester’ comprises of 170 apartments across 18 storeys.

The 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments and penthouses range from a minimum of 60sqm and come with a seven-day concierge service which will offer residents access to amenities, often only seen with high-end international hotels.

Positioned on the corner of Chester and Ella Streets with Nodo Donuts, Chester Street Bakery, and the Emporium Hotel and restaurant precinct on the doorstep.

Architecturally designed by globally renowned firm, Hayball, the building’s exterior draws inspiration from the folds and canyons of the iconic Brisbane River, with its striking and sculptural façade designed to make a positive contribution to Newstead’s growing ‘street style’.

Inside the apartments, the project has a luxury-edge and has been designed by Ministry of Design Singapore.

The ground floor lobby has been designed with a warm and modern entrance adorned with custom lighting, herringbone oak flooring and soaring ceilings.

Within each apartment, monochromatic palettes of bold matte-black are contrasted against cool-white marble finishes, ensuring a sense of space and freedom, further accentuated by decadently high ceilings.

Full length doors slide open on to private balconies, giving way to views of the city skyline and horizon framed by strikingly angled concrete panels and bronze balustrades.

Elba marble benchtops, designer under-mount black sinks, matte-black tapware and Miele appliances featured throughout the kitchens are complemented by copper and concrete detailing.

The bathrooms mirror the designer appeal with recessed timber shelving, penny round feature wall tiles and textured surfaces that balance the high-gloss mirror custom vanities.

Many of the apartments boast coveted butler’s pantries to create a true entertainer’s kitchen.

The project offers a large amount of residential amenity which includes a rooftop facility complete with a swimming pool, spa, outdoor cinema, kitchen and barbeque areas, along with a putting green. A further three levels of amenity abound on the lower levels of the building with an additional outdoor courtyard terrace and fire pit.

Private lounges, a theatre, karaoke room, pool table and residents’ bar, can all be booked through the on-site concierge.
