Fabric, Pointcorp’s latest mixed-use development located at 105 Commercial Road Teneriffe will hold it’s public launch on July 30.

Once an industrial port dominated by heritage wool stores, warehouses and naval buildings, Teneriffe has undergone a significant and holistic gentrification process.

The design of Fabric has been inspired from the patchwork of neighbouring wool stores and warehouses surrounding it as well as NYC’s sleek city loft conversions.

Comprising 73 apartments across 7 storeys, Fabric boasts a distinctive curved apex facade and has been designed by Cottee Parker architects.

The podium level, which will house two large new retail tenancies feature design elements that articulate the suburb’s early 20th century industrial legacy.

Pointcorp launched Fabric on the 30th of July to the public and recorded 35 sales totalling over $23 million – 50% of the project.

Pointcorp Development Director Godfrey Esmonde said the response was overwhelming.

“The response today has been fantastic, we have seen real excitement from people who have been waiting for a development like this in Teneriffe. We were confident there is still a strong market in Brisbane for large quality apartments in exceptional locations and today’s results confirm this,” said Mr Esmonde.

Construction is scheduled to commence in late 2016 with completion expected in the third quarter of 2018.
