A new terrace home development in Augustine Heights has reached a key pre-construction sales milestone, with 65 out of 74 residences now under contract, according to developer Azure.
Known as Ember by Azure, the project is situated on Augusta Parkway and forms part of the broader wave of residential expansion occurring across the Ipswich and Greater Springfield region.
The homes were released in stages, with both Stage One and Stage Two now sold out within just a few months of launch. Nine homes remain available ahead of the Stage Three release later this year.
Each dwelling in the project spans two to three storeys and features between three and four bedrooms, study areas and one or two car parking spaces. Azure has offered five different floorplans designed to cater to a mix of demographics, from young professionals to families.
Trent Keirnan, Director at Azure, said the fast uptake reflects wider pressures in the housing market.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see this vision resonate with so many people, particularly given the pressures of the current housing market,” he said. “We’re proud to play a part in providing for a lifestyle that is so sought after.”
The gated community is set to include shared resident facilities branded as the “AClub,” which would offer a wet-edge pool, a children’s pool, sun lounges and landscaped areas focused on relaxation and communal activity.
Mr Keirnan noted that the area’s long-term growth trajectory was a key driver behind the development.
“Ipswich has been projected for remarkable growth and is currently experiencing a major transformation,” he said. “We are especially dedicated to investing in key growth areas, creating communities that focus on lifestyle and fostering connections.”
Construction on Ember is scheduled to begin in February 2025 by Azure Build, the company’s internal construction division.
Azure is a privately owned Queensland-based development firm with a portfolio of residential and mixed-use projects across South East Queensland. The company reports a current pipeline valued at approximately $1.5 billion.
