Cedar Woods has reached a major milestone at its Greville masterplanned community in Wooloowin, topping out the Vera apartment building just over a year after breaking ground.

It’s the ASX-listed developer’s first apartment project in Queensland and it’s already 95% sold.

Vera is a six-storey boutique building delivering 58 apartments in a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom configurations. It sits within the broader 3.5-hectare Greville masterplan, located about 5km north of the CBD on the site of the former Holy Cross laundry.

Brisbane builder Emacen Projects is handling the construction, with completion expected in late 2026. Cedar Woods says it expects to welcome residents before Christmas.

Designed by multi-award-winning architecture studio Rothelowman, Vera features resort-style rooftop amenities including a pool, BBQ and dining area, outdoor lounge, and a firepit with panoramic city views.

Only two apartments remain, a two-bedroom and a three-bedroom.

First of Three Apartment Buildings

Vera is the first architecturally-designed apartment building at Greville, but it won’t be the last. Two further apartment towers, reportedly up to 14 storeys, are planned for the site.

Cedar Woods Chief Operating Officer Patrick Archer said the topping out sets the stage for the developer’s broader southeast Queensland apartment ambitions.

This includes two additional buildings at Greville and our planned Robina development on the Gold Coast, which will comprise a mix of apartments and townhomes, located adjacent to Robina Town Centre.

The Bigger Picture at Greville

When fully complete, the Greville masterplan will deliver 84 townhomes, more than 200 apartments across three buildings, and a collection of heritage homes within the restored Holy Cross laundry building, originally constructed in the 1800s.

The first two stages of townhomes have been completed, and the final townhome stage (being delivered by Devcon Building Co) is under construction and 85% sold.

Existing residents already have access to a recreation area with a pool, BBQs, and alfresco dining, as well as Greville Park, a 4,000sqm public park that opened in 2023.

Cedar Woods’ Brisbane portfolio also includes Ellendale in Upper Kedron and Sage in Burpengary.
