The design for the tallest tower in the Queen’s Wharf precinct has been unveiled in a new flythrough animation video.
The tower which is known as ‘Queen’s Wharf Tower’ is the tallest tower in the precinct which would soar over 250m into the Brisbane Skyline or 71 storeys high.
Accommodating over 800 apartments, prices for the one, two, and three-bedrooms apartments start from $585,000 and run to $3.5 million. Penthouses on the top levels start from $6.4 million.
Queen’s Wharf is being developed by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group with Hong Kong-based partners, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises and Far East Consortium.
The massive $3.6 billion development will accommodate four new hotels, 50 new bars, restaurants and cafes, the Neville Bonner Pedestrian Bridge link to South Bank as well as 12 football fields of public space.
The first residential tower which is under construction is now fully sold out.

Serious question: are there any rumours about demolishing the riverside expressway anytime soon? All the Queens Wharf videos have snippets where the riverside expressway is cutaway (to give better views of the proposed river frontage developments); but the river frontage looks surprisingly good in these!
There’s just way too much outdoor dining space (both above the expressway and below it) in these videos -it’s really hard to see how any of these spaces would be a pleasant experience with the sounds of traffic mere metres away.
So that begs the question: are the bigwigs bankrolling this whole area expecting a Seattle-style riverside expressway redevelopment any time soon? Could we see traffic diverted to tunnels under South Bank, much like the concept plan Brisbane Development posted a few years back?
Wow what a major reduction in Greener compared to the original plan.
I like the glass and sleek design but would have been so much better with all the greenery.
