Mercedes-Benz Brisbane, in a bold move for parent company Star Auto Group, have announced their new project in the golden triangle location of 300 Adelaide Street, with the transformation of an existing building which will house retail and commercial space including a Mercedes-Benz Brisbane permanent pop up showroom plus café and restaurant which will serve breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday and a dinner and bar offering on Thursday and Friday evenings.

The 22 story building is currently experiencing a full refurbishment with the most notable upgrade being a feature three level glass podium fronting Adelaide St.

Mercedes-Benz Brisbane Dealer Principal Shane Parkins, who is overseeing the project said, ‘Mercedes-Benz Brisbane has been searching for a key position within the CBD to provide a touchstone point where existing and new customers can arrange a test drive and service bookings, or simply enjoy an exciting new food and beverage offering.’

Parkins went on to say that ‘with the increasingly busy lives that people lead we are trying to make it easier for them to reach us, especially those who work in the CBD and we see 300 Adelaide Street as the perfect opportunity to service our existing customers and introduce the lifestyle brand to a new group of people seeking a premium brand such as ours.’

The group’s portfolio also includes a new 12,500 square metre vans service and parts centre at Eagle Farm, and is also currently building Australia’s largest Autohaus on Breakfast Creek Road, Newstead due for completion in 2018.

Working with acclaimed architects Cottee Parker, it will embody a striking design reflective of the great Autohaus’ of Europe with a car museum, showroom, restaurant and community event spaces.
