Kokoda Property has announced the expansion of its Ruby Ruby project in Milton, Brisbane, following a successful mid-2023 launch that saw 80 percent of the dwellings sold. The company has received development approval to add four additional levels to the project, responding to high demand from buyers.

The expanded scheme will include 34 new apartments: two additional one-bedroom units, 24 additional two-bedroom units starting at $764,000, and eight more three-bedroom units starting at $2.3 million. This addition brings the total number of apartments in Ruby Ruby to 178, spread across 26 storeys.

Located at 12-18 Crombie St, Milton, Ruby Ruby aims to offer high-end luxury living. The project features the Ruby Ruby Penthouse Collection, which includes eight sub-penthouses and four penthouses, with prices starting at $3.75 million.

This expansion occurs amid a robust market rebound in Brisbane, where unit values have risen by 18.2 percent in the past year. Experts attribute this growth to several factors, including the upcoming 2032 Olympic Games, expected to spur over a decade of infrastructure development and population growth.

Brisbane’s affordability, job growth, and lifestyle appeal also continue to attract interstate migration, making it a prime location for luxury living.

Mark Stevens, Founder and Managing Director of Kokoda Property, remarked that adding extra storeys to Ruby Ruby marks a significant milestone for the developer. He emphasised that this enhancement would elevate the project’s impact on luxury living in Milton.

The Ruby Ruby development boasts a range of amenities, including a rooftop infinity pool, landscaped BBQ areas, floating daybeds, cabanas, a fire pit, private dining and bar space, a state-of-the-art private cinema lounge, a billiards room, versatile meeting rooms, and a dog wash facility.

Additionally, residents will have access to a health and wellness centre, complete with a sauna, spa, plunge pool, yoga studio, and fully equipped gym.

Construction on the expanded Ruby Ruby is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2024, with completion anticipated in 2026.

Founded with a respect for classical architecture and a commitment to quality, Kokoda Property has established itself as a respected developer of luxury apartment projects over the past 25 years. The company’s development portfolio spans $5 billion across Victoria and Queensland.
