Plans for Devine’s new Camelot residential apartment tower for 30 Albert Street on the corner of Margaret and Albert street has been submitted.
The city grid between Margaret Street and the Botanical Gardens will soon be completely transformed as a new DA for Devine’s Camelot residential apartment tower on the corner of Margaret and Albert Streets was submitted today.
The 37 level tower will consist of 420 one and two bedroom residential apartments, half a floor of office space and a restaurant and retail space on ground level.
The tower is to be built next to the Sunland Group’s proposed 44 level Carrington tower and across the street from the Queensland Government’s new Albert Street Cross River Rail underground station, completing a revitalised Albert Street strip from the Botanical Gardens to the Myer Centre.
Devine has built several properties located around Albert Street including River City Apartments, Festival Towers and Charlotte Towers. The now proposed Camelot Tower is designed with no balconies and will be marketed to Brisbane’s fast absorbing 1 & 2 bedroom market.
The tower’s circular design will somewhat mirror its proposed neighbour’s circular class facade design. Images of the proposed development are located below:
