Brookfield Residential Properties’ Portside East development has been approved by the department of Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning (formerly the Urban Land Development Authority).

The project includes a 17 and 19 storey residential development along the waterfront wedged between Brookfield’s previous Portside Wharf development and popular Eat Street Markets.

Development mix:

  • Tower 16A:
    • 1 bed apartments – x70
    • 2 bed apartments – x46
    • 3 bed apartments – x47
    • Penthouses – x6
  • Tower 16B:
    • 1 bed apartments – x74
    • 2 bed apartments – x46
    • 3 bed apartments – x47
    • Penthouses – x6
  • Total 342 apartments

The ground floor consists of 1966m2 of net lettable retail area with around 16 retail tenancies planned.

Building 16A accommodates a rooftop pool and recreation deck on level of 19 while building 16B consists of a smaller rooftop terrace on level 17.
