A development application has been submitted by New Fortune Group for a nine-storey residential development located at 20-22 Lambert St, Indooroopilly.

Designed by ZArchitects, the development comprises of 58 apartments as well as two ground level retail tenancies.

  • Ground retail: 687m2
  • Car parks: 131 car spaces including x15 visitor spaces
  • 362m2 rooftop terrace

According to the development application, the design intent is to create “a diverse, integrated, mixed-use centre hosting retail and commercial office uses, higher density dwellings and a range of community and recreational facilities that are concentrated around existing and future public transport nodes to encourage greater use of public transport services and attract further investment in new public transport facilities in and serving Indooroopilly centre.”

The proposal aims to dedicate 19% of the site for landscaped open space planting.

A rooftop terrace is proposed and would include an outdoor yoga area, sunken lounge, cinema, formal dining area, pool and pool deck area as well as a gymnasium.

The site is currently housing a single dwelling house located at 22 Lambert Road with an existing commercial building located at 20 Lambert Road.

    We strongly against this proposal as this will increase the traffic and noises for the residential areas!!!

    Yes, the developer Feng Gao had a very bad reputation in this industry as well. The development he did in 35 Merivale Street had already in receivership. He used to be tax agent as he fraudulently prepared 500 tax returns then lost his liscence
