Jon Build and Bekka Group have submitted an application to build a development comprising of two towers, (14 levels & 12 levels) located at 27 Commercial Road, Newstead across the road from the Waterloo Hotel.

The project comprises of the following apartment mix:

  • 75 x one bedroom units (40%)
  • 97 x two bedroom units (52%)
  • 15 x three bedroom units (8%)

The residential towers are separated by a central garden, which incorporates green walls and areas of deep planting.

The development also includes a two storey podium with three commercial tenancies sleeving two levels of car parking.

In addition, there are also two levels of basement car parking. The commercial tenancies may be occupied by a shop, restaurant or office as defined by City Plan 2000. The ground level commercial tenancies consistent of the following –

  • Tenancy 1 – 179m2 and 91m² mezzanine level
  • Tenancy 2 – 125m2
  • Tenancy 3 – 240m2

Designed by Ellivo Architects, the development includes a rooftop pool deck and bbq area on each tower.
