A new development application has been submitted to develop a fifteen storey residential building at 160 Macquarie Street, St Lucia.

St Lucia Developments Pty Ltd has engaged Architectural firm Rothelowman to design the development which sits on the Brisbane River and will have views towards the CBD, west towards Mount Coot-tha and D’Aguilar ranges.

Known as St Lucia residences, the development comprises of 26 x three bedroom units (two per floor) and 74 basement car spaces.

A ground floor swimming pool is proposed as well as a level 15 rooftop terrace, consisting of a bbq area and gardens.

    What is the status of the development application at 160 Macquarie St, St Lucia? I notice the security fencing has been removed. Does this mean the development will no longer happen?
